In 1987, he had joined in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and started his career as Chief Engineer for Rendezvous and Docking System of Engineering Satellite-VII & H-II Transfer Vehicle(HTV).　He has also developed various observation satellites. He was appointed to Deputy Manager of Space Systems Department in 2013 and Executive Fellow in 2015. From 2019, he was assigned to Fellow of Defense & Space Systems Group and promoting utilization of space systems such as high precision positioning from navigation satellite and Earth Observation data from EO satellites. He is a member of IAA and holds a PhD in engineering
