Hidehito Shiratsu is Head of the Space Business Development Office at Yokogawa Electric Corporation. He is responsible for business opportunity exploration and development in Space industries. Space business is a new business domain defined by Yokogawa Electric Corporation’s medium-term management plan. Therefore, Yokogawa launched the Space Business Development Office in 2021. Prior to his current position, he was a marketing manager of process automation systems for industries of Oil and Gas, Petro chemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, etc. He was mainly responsible for products planning and sales promotion for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Plant Information Management Systems (PIMS). He has a bachelor’s degree of electronic engineering.
